When I started on this journey of company culture discovery I thought that companies like Netflix and Zappos were as good as it got when it came to company culture. I then came across the 3 DDOs described in An Everyone Culture and realised that an organisation where human development was built into the fabric of of the operating system of the business, is the future.
The challenge with Next Jump, Decurion and Bridgewater Associates is that they have all had 20 years to develop the foundations for DDOness. The question I spend a lot of time thinking about is whether it is possible to build a DDO from day one of a startup?
